Overview
The Mentor is an internal program by Telkom Indonesia's Digital Amoeba, designed to accelerate growth in business, people, and technology. It connects teams (Amoebas) with experienced mentors (senior leaders) in a F.U.N yet I.M.P.A.C.T.F.U.L way. During my UI/UX Design internship, I led the redesign of the website to reflect the company’s new branding direction and to enhance engagement through visually dynamic and intuitive design.
The goal
To redesign The Mentor website in alignment with Telkom’s evolving brand identity—creating a modern, animated, and user-centric experience that effectively communicates the program's essence and value.
The challenge
Redesigning based on brand guidelines that were still in progress during the project.
Balancing bold visual direction (like neo-brutalism) with later demands for a more minimal and clean style.
Implementing interactive and animated elements without compromising usability.
Designing multiple pages beyond the landing page (e.g., dashboard, FAQ, blog, and register).
The result
Successfully delivered a redesigned website that visually aligns with the updated brand identity while incorporating dynamic interactions and animations. The final design was the result of two major iterations—transitioning from an initial neo-brutalist approach to a more minimal aesthetic in response to brand shifts. This project strengthened my ability to ideate, prototype, test, and refine complex design systems in a collaborative setting.
